In the vast expanse of the American desert, a vibrant and surreal world unfolds, born from the imagination of Wes Anderson. Asteroid City is a love letter to the allure of stardust and the connections that bind us to each other. It’s the 1950s, and Junior Stargazer, a widowed father, is attending a Junior Stargazer/ Space Cadet convention with his son. Unbeknownst to them, the weekend will bring a chance encounter with a beautiful and alluring tearoom owner, Midge, who has her own set of emotional scars.

As the festivities take flight, the starry-eyed father and son cross paths with an array of fascinating characters – an elegant and refined socialite, Octavia, the endearing DJ who seems stuck in his teenage love story. Relationships blossom and intertwine as the story traverses eccentric families, mystery men from the past, lost love stories, friendships forged, the highs and lows of love, lost secrets and discoveries.

Asteroid City, is indeed a charming marvel- an experience transcending time and reality. With captivating performances and heartfelt storytelling, Wes Anderson entices viewers into an unforgettable world, exploring the complexities of love, life and human relationships.
