Inspired by the 1985 true story of a black bear that overdosed on cocaine, Cocaine Bear is a dark comedy-thriller film that reimagines this bizarre event in a fictional narrative. The story revolves around Colette Matthews, the devoted mother of college-aged son Eddie, who goes on a journey to rescue him after he gets lost in the woods. However, things become complicated as the woods are haunted by a massive and eccentric bear, high on cocaine. The bear wreaks havoc, leaving the community at the mercy of the wild beast.
